It’s always a pleasure to visit Susan and Paul in the South of France and so mum and I flew out from Liverpool John Lennon Airport courtesy of the unusually expensive Mr. Michael Ryan Airways. I give the full title as I don’t particularly wish to promote his services from Liverpool which was three times the cost of my usual payment from Stansted.
The time we spent there was the usual carousel of good company, rest, relaxation, tremendous food, excellent wine, the odd swim and uplifting walks into the Langeudoc countryside with Atmos and Georgie.
We visited Mirepoix, Limoux and Le Canal Midi near Bram and the sunflowers were magnificent and in full bloom.
Languedoc Roussillon is a fantastic holiday destination for nature and history lovers.
